According to an announcement from AT&T, the HTC One X has received the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update.
“The latest version of Android software,” writes AT&T’s Mark Bridgwater, “Jelly Bean makes your smartphone easier to use through several enhancements.”
In addition to the new features made possible with the upgrade (review the entire list here), the HTC One X will now work with Isis, the growing mobile commerce network launched by AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and T-Mobile USA last year.
“The HTC One X is also Isis capable,” Bridgwater confirmed.
“With Isis, users can easily upload payment and loyalty cards to a convenient and secure app,” he explained in his post. “They can then use the One X to make payments by tapping their phone at participating retailers. Isis Mobile Wallet is currently trialing in Austin and Salt Lake City.”
