On Wednesday, MEF published findings from its new Global Consumer Survey, which probed mobile device usage for purchases and other activities across more than a dozen countries, including the U.S.

All told, nearly 40% of mobile media consumers have spent north of $150 for a purchase carried out on their mobile handset.
