In general, solutions businesses are adopting do not require additional technology like kiosks. Though this is a nice idea, reality is still proving that uptake will be difficult if a merchant is required to install new equipment and/or if the end user is required to make any more than one step.

Why can't Cardagin use the existing scanners in the store? The solution lies in the code being scanned at checkout and tied into their loyalty program.

Input the phone number in the POS with overlay, use a promo code to verify offer and tie into payments system to match both and you have solved both verification and measurable results issue.

Cost? email me

Adena: I would like to make one clarification to your article, our scanner-enabled devices will cost $600-$1,000 per year, not per month. We don't expect to make real money on renting these devices, our revenue is generated by publishing and pushing mobile ads. I would be happy to go into more detail with you if you'd like. Thanks. Rob Masri, CEO, Cardagin Networks
