Bee Media Inc., a hugely popular and growing mobile shopping platform, has confirmed rumored plans that the company was moving toward an acquisition of Adcentricity Inc., a location-based digital media technology firm.
Based on details revealed in today’s formal press release from Bee Media, the newly formed Adcentricity announced the availability of two new products that supposedly make it easier for advertisers to develop hyper-local campaigns.

Myriad has facilitated the creation of what’s being billed as the biggest mobile social messaging business in the world.
On Monday it was announced that Myriad Group has reached the required shareholder approvals to acquire UK-based Synchronica.
“This deal will create a powerhouse in the rapidly growing sector of mobile-social convergence,” said Simon Wilkinson, CEO of Myriad. “It will establish a global service organization serving over 100 Carriers and 25 OEMs around the world. At a stroke, it increases the addressable base for our award-winning product portfolios to over 1.8 billion subscribers with pre-installation of our products in over 100 million new devices each year.”

It was announced this week that Intuit has reportedly paid between $80 and $100 million to acquire a three-year old mCommerce firm out of Boston called AisleBuyer.
“We realized we have a shared vision about creating an end-to-end shopping experience,” said Andrew Paradise, found and CEO of the three-year old AisleBuyer.
The shared vision refers to the desire of both Intuit and AisleBuyer to help shoppers enjoy the benefits of mobile in their retail endeavors.

SAP has formally announced plans to acquire Syclo upon receiving applicable regulatory approval.
“Today’s announcement is the next step in delivering a fully-integrated mobile platform and enterprise application portfolio to both Syclo and SAP customers,” said Syclo CEO Rich Padula.
Although financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, SAP will reportedly focus on enterprise mobility and tap into Syclo’s expansive expertise in building and selling mobile solutions in diverse industries.
