Google has been battered by consistent criticisms in recent weeks as the Internet search giant has allowed only select developers to test and tinker with its forthcoming Google Glass device.
As media and social giants like Facebook and The New York Times launch their apps for Google’s mysterious face computer, a curious general pubic wants more.
And it’s probably in the best interest of Google to give some of these critics what they want. Apparently, even Google is starting to agree with that assessment.

Unfortunately for consumers hoping that Google Glass would arrive in time to land beneath their Christmas trees this holiday season, Google chairman Eric Schmidt is proving to be the Grinch that stole Christmas.
Regrettably, Google Glass is “probably a year-ish away.” In other words, 2014 is all but certainly the earliest we will see the next big thing in personal, wearable computer technology.
Speaking on the BBC Radio’s “World at One,“ Schmidt tells interviewer Martha Kearney on Monday that the launch of Google Glass isn’t as imminent as some on the blogosphere have hinted or hoped.

According to the latest insight gleaned from the findings of a new Nellymoser study, publishers continue to embrace mobile in the presentation and publication of today’s leading magazines.
Mobile activation in the top 100 U.S. magazines has dramatically changed from 2011 to 2012, the study shows.
