CNET partners with The Cloud for Wi-Fi site

Online publisher CNET Networks UK is to launch a user-generated ‘Wi-Fi watch’ web site, which will publish unbiased and up-to-the-minute location reviews and reports about Wi-Fi hotspots aimed at business travellers.
The site, atlarge.com, has partnered with wireless networked operator The Cloud to give the latter’s customers access to the site from its hotspots. This will allow wireless Internet users to check the quality of connections in their locale before they subscribe to a service.
The web site features user reviews and ratings on subjects like Wi-Fi locations, costs and availability of power points.
We think it could be easier just to use something like the Wifi Seeker or a key ring signal finder. Anyone happen to know of some phone based software for doing the same?
