Infographic The Mobile Commerce Ecosystem1 Infographic: The Mobile Commerce EcosystemThe team behind Microsoft’s “Tag” technology has published a pretty impressive infographic today that details the mobile commerce ecosystem and it’s massive growth recently — a trend that’s projected to produce $119 billion in mobile purchases by 2015.

The graphic covers how people are shopping on their phones, how many retailers have mobile sites and which demographics make purchases on their phones the most.  What’s still surprising is the fact that an astonishingly low number of retailers have a mobile site, even though it’s been estimated that half of smartphone users would make a purchase using their mobile device.

As they say, pictures are worth a thousand words…
