Juniper Says Mobile Gambling is No Longer a Small Industry

Juniper Says Mobile Gambling is No Longer a Small Industry 300x214 Juniper Says Mobile Gambling is No Longer a Small IndustryIf you’ve visited our new sister site mGamingWatch in recent weeks, you’ve likely noticed a steady stream of major headlines erupting on a regular basis pertaining to the growth of the online and mobile real-money gambling industry both domestically and abroad.

But if the newest report from Juniper is any indication, we truly haven’t seen anything yet.

Over the next five years, the research giant estimates, the number of mobile and/or tablet owners using their devices to gamble will increase by 100 million.
Put into perspective, some 164 million people will either place a bet, visit a mobile casino or buy a lottery ticket on their device in 2018.

Curiously, the findings from Juniper Research’s latest report and corresponding projections indicate that  the strongest growth in the mobile gambling space would come from the North American market in the coming years.

The full report – Mobile Gambling: Casinos, Lotteries and Betting 2013-2018 – is available now for purchase from the Juniper website.
