SkyGiraffe, a new venture that provides a platform to extend on-premise enterprise systems directly to mobile devices, is getting some financial support from a force like no other in the tech space – Microsoft.
SkyGiraffe announced today that it has received a strategic investment from Microsoft Ventures.
This marks the first fund announcement from Microsoft Ventures, and will enable SkyGiraffe to further its mission of empowering organizations to efficiently provide enterprise-grade mobile apps to their workforce.
“We provide the tools that make it exceptionally easy for businesses to perform at their best, anywhere and at any time,” stated Boaz Hecht, Co-Founder and CEO of SkyGiraffe. “We are thrilled to work closely with the team at Microsoft Ventures to bring our services to customers around the world.”
Given the increased usage of smartphones and tablets in the workforce, implementing operational mobile apps have become a strategic priority for enterprise companies.
“SkyGiraffe has an extremely productive impact on how enterprises operate in the mobile world, while improving employee efficiency and lowering overall IT costs,” added Rahul Sood, General Manager of Microsoft Ventures. “They are a great example of talented founders that have utilized Microsoft’s programs for startups to increase their opportunity to succeed in the market.”
