If you look at the interfaces of Google and Bing it is no surprise Apple switched. Bing is much more polished and really looks like it was made by the OSX design team. It makes Google search look like Craig's List.

Jason- touch-screen-based search, while still in its infancy, will see much more hype in the near future. Startups like Taptu, who get in on the game before the big guys, will position themselves nicely for when the segment starts to heat up.

Thanks for your comment!

Hi Justin,

I'm Jason, the community manager for Taptu, a mobile search engine that specializes in mobile friendly content for mobile handsets. Also, we're focusing now on touch-friendly content for Android devices, Palm, iPhones, Nokias and many others.

We're gaining traction and are seeing a lot of cool trends with search. It will be a fun space to watch!
