Another venerable publication has capitulated to modern technology and the evolving preferences of subscription magazine readers.
Four decades old but still as relevant and hip as ever, iconic music magazine Rolling Stone is launching an iPad edition.
Not only is Rolling Stone joining the digital age, the publication has also secured a partnership with iTunes to make music available for purchase inside the digital pages of Rolling Stone.
Rolling Stone comes to life on the iPad – with all the breaking music news, hot album and movie reviews, must-read rock star profiles and in-depth national affairs reporting you love in the magazine.
Rolling Stone‘s first iPad edition reached Apple’s Newsstand app this morning.
The iPad edition of Rolling Stone – which, incidentally, is NOT bundled with the print issue – is available for $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year. A single issue is consistent with the newsstand price of $4.99.
